Hello New York, We’re Ellevest

Ellevest is a fintech company with an online community of more than 3 million women working toward financial equality. For the brand’s first out-of-home campaign in over five years, this creative introduces Ellevest and encourages women to think about investing as something easy they can do to feel good about their money. 

Running in 60 locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn, the campaign had one goal: To get busy New Yorkers to look up from their phone between errands or on their way to happy hour with friends and see that Ellevest will help them invest in all those big dreams of theirs. This 360 campaign lived across marketing channels including OOH, paid social, the marketing site, organic social, the Magazine, emails, and newsletters.

When women take the step to start investing and get their money right, they have more time for all the other things, the richer things — like travel, better sleep, the people they love, and themselves. 

Rather than overcomplicating investing, this creative unpacks how simple it is to get started, and why investing is a form of self-care.

Because this campaign was speaking directly to New Yorkers who can sniff out pandering copy right away, geographic authenticity was crucial. I.e., if you know, you know.

We seized the opportunity to inject humor throughout the campaign, poking fun at Crypto bros and perhaps our more (cough, cough) patriarchal competition.
